Family Assistance Program
The Foundation sets aside a fund to assist an officer and/or his family in times of need. Such as the death of an officer and subsequent assistance to the family, a major medical incident that results in a serious financial burden to the officer, or other major incidents not avoidable by an officer that result in another financial burden to the officer’s family.

The Foundation raises monies to buy the equipment officers need to perform their duties safely. Even small items such as weather appropriate reflective uniforms and first aid kits are necessary so that o officers do not need to spend their own money to give high level public safety services to Nevada’s residents and visitors.
